Stand Up: Social Movements
Concept:
This project focuses on creating typographic posters for three events honoring outstanding individuals: the Mothers of De Plaza, Chibok Bring Back Our Girls, and Black Lives Matter. Each poster visually represents the work, talent, and contributions of these figures, using typography as the primary design element. The series aims to showcase the symbolic elements specific to each movement, creating a visually impactful representation of their significance.
Process:
I initiated this project with thorough research into each event portrayed in the posters. Following this, I sketched numerous concepts, aiming to establish a cohesive yet individually impactful design for each poster. Afterwards, I engaged in typographic experimentation, refining my ideas to select the most suitable concept for the final posters.
